Last month I was working with a client who was affected by the gutting of the federal government and job searching and we were celebrating the progress she had made over the last 8 months when she said,
“I think I made it to my menace era”.
I paused, looked confused for a second and then realized that, yes, as a woman who is creating and holding healthy boundaries, letting go of beliefs that no longer serve us and listening to our inner voice and taking action accordingly we are menaces.
